When usage demands complete washability and stain resistance, water based Modern Emulsion is the perfect alternative to Estate® Emulsion. With a slightly increased sheen level, this wall and ceiling paint is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and areas of high usage.

A pioneer in the field of architectural color, Donald Kaufman Color creates unique palettes and special pigment formulations based on more than thirty years of research on the equation of color + space + light.  In 1976 Donald Kaufman and his wife artist Taffy Dahl, began to collaborate with the best and best-known talents in architecture and design.  In the process, we have formulated thousands of custom colors.

Travelling to Europe, South America, Mexico, Canada, Japan and Israel, and throughout the United States, to mix site-specific palettes for each unique geography and atmosphere.  Kaufman has created colors for a broad range of structures, styles and periods: from contemporary city apartments, hotels, restaurants, stores, and libraries to beaux-arts museums, gothic churches, and great country houses.
