Cabot Semi-Transparent Deck & Siding Stain

Looking to Stain Your New Deck? Consider Cabot Semi-Transparent Deck & Siding Stain

If you have a new deck or siding project you are looking to protect, consider staining it with Cabot Semi Transparent Deck and Siding Stain.

Cabots Semi Transparent Deck & Siding Stain

Cabot has been making stains since the late 1800′s and the Semi Transparent Deck and Siding Stain is a perfect choice to protect your deck, siding, fences, shingles and roofs.  The Cabot Semi-Transparent stains are deep penetrating, linseed oil-based stains that beautify and protect exterior wood.  These lightly pigmented stains enhance the natural beauty of the wood by allowing the grain, texture and color variations within the wood to show through.  This stain is really great on rough-sawn surfaces, and excellent results are obtained on premium grade lumber such as cedar, fir, pine, cypress, spruce, and redwood.

Available in 100 custom colors (visit our stores to see the color offering), Cabot Semi-Transparent Deck and Siding stain provides superior water repellency and UV protection.  You can expect approximately 450 square feet of coverage on smooth surfaces and 175 square feet on rough surfaces

Please visit our Fishkill or Poughkeepsie, New York showrooms to learn more about this and other Cabot stain products.

Isn’t It Time You Stained Your Deck?

Spring has finally arrived and now is the time to start thinking about refinishing your deck. Before applying new stain to your deck it is absolutely critical that you exercise proper surface preparation to your deck surface. The quality and durability of your deck staining job depends on the surface preparation. Don’t rush this step! Here are some great tips from Flood Stain on Deck Surface Preparation:

Proper Surface Preparation is Critical To Ensure Great Results!

Before You Start:
